There's never been a better time to
join us at the Dallas Gun Club

Behind an unmarked gate, near the intersection of Hwy. 121 and I-35, is a 600-acre secluded oasis, in the heart of the Metroplex, that is devoted to the shooting sports. Founded in 1946, the Dallas Gun Club celebrates a rich history. It is a private, members-only facility that has long been the home of avid competitive and recreational shooters. Its members span the ranks of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and other professionals.

These committed shooting enthusiasts are able to enjoy a truly impressive variety of shotgun sports: Sporting Clays, Skeet, Trap, Helice (ZZ Bird), Bunker Trap, the Grid, Five Stand and Powder Pigeon (360° Trap), as well as Rifle and Pistol, shooting. For those who wish to take their game to the next level, we offer instructional opportunities from both our resident instructor program as well as frequent guest instructors who are nationally regarded within their discipline.

Over the years, it has been our privilege to host World, National, and State Championships. And while it is true that among our ranks are World Champions, All Americans, All-State, and National Team members, we are most proud of our family atmosphere and the camaraderie that exists between members, regardless of their ability. This is in evidence not just in our shooting venues or our regularly scheduled leagues but also in our bar and dining room where our members spend time over dinner and/or a drink while enjoying a view that belies our close proximity to a major metropolitan area.

Junior Memberships

We realize that the future of our shooting sports ultimately lies in the hands of a younger generation. We also recognize that the full initiation fee and the monthly dues associated with an Individual Membership at the Dallas Gun Club can be a significant burden for younger shooters. Thus, we created a Junior Membership.

This membership option is available to individuals between the ages of 21 and 35. The initiation fee is half that of an Individual Membership. It entails a low initial remittance and the balance is payable over as much as a five year period. Dues are the same as those paid by Individual Members. At any time prior to his/her 36th birthday, a Junior Member may apply for full membership and have the initiation fee they have already paid credited toward the amount due for a full Individual Membership. Junior members do not vote or hold office and these memberships are not transferable.

This is a wonderful opportunity for younger individuals to secure membership in our club and gain full access to all of the shooting venues and amenities at one of the country’s most exclusive private gun clubs.

Click on the Junior Membership application button for details on the initiation fee and monthly dues. If you have further questions about such membership or would like to visit the club for a tour and perhaps some shooting, click on the link at the upper right-hand corner of this page or contact us at sales@dallasgunclub.com. We will be happy to arrange a personal tour.

Resident Memberships

Since its founding in 1946, the Dallas Gun Club has become recognized on the world stage. Its shooting fields and member amenities are among the finest anywhere. While a wonderful staff maintains the infrastructure and grounds, the Board, management, and Long Range Planning Committee also keep an eye on the future. In the past 15 years, some $4.5 million has been devoted to capital improvements and the club has amassed a seven-figure cash reserve. Plans are already being laid for additional improvements and further expansion of our shooting facilities.

With growth comes added capacity. Consequently, our Board voted to accept additional members. This decision affords a unique opportunity to become part of one of the most beautiful and exclusive gun clubs, with one of the most diverse arrays of shooting venues, in the United States.

A Resident Membership affords only one vote on decisions granted to members under our Bylaws. However, a spouse is also considered a member, with the same unfettered rights of usage and participation. In addition, your children are also allowed to join in our activities (with some age-related requirements regarding adult member supervision).

Be part of our fun and camaraderie. The prestige of membership in one of the country’s most exclusive private gun clubs is within your reach. Click on the Resident Membership application button for details on the initiation fee and monthly dues. If you have further questions or would like to visit the club for a tour and perhaps some shooting, click on the “Schedule a Tour” link at the upper right-hand corner of this page or contact us at sales@dallasgunclub.com. We will be happy to arrange a personal visit.

Non-Resident

Memberships

After an increasing number of individuals who do not live in the Metroplex expressed an interest in joining the club, the Board decided to create a non-resident membership. Any individual who does not have a residence or principal place of business within 200 miles of the club is eligible to take advantage of this opportunity, which provides access to all of our amenities at a significantly reduced price.

Non-resident members pay the same initiation fee as resident members. However, their monthly dues are half of those paid by resident members. There are no voting rights for Non-Resident Members and they may not sell their memberships. However, a transfer to an immediate family member who qualifies for Non-Resident Membership is permitted.

Non-Resident members may change their status to that of a Resident Member if they acquire a residence or principal place of business within the designated 200-mile radius. They must simply pay the remaining 50% of the current initiation fee to secure the upgrade. They will then be responsible for paying the full dues associated with Resident Memberships. At that juncture, they will have the right to sell or transfer their memberships and will have the voting rights of a Resident Member.

This is a great opportunity for individuals living outside the designated 200-mile radius to secure full access to all of the shooting venues and amenities at one of the country’s most exclusive private gun clubs. This option is also available to individual members of the club who move their residence and principal place of business from the Dallas area. Their dues will immediately be reduced by 50% and their membership will remain fully transferable, although voting rights will be suspended.

Click on the Non-Resident Membership application button for details on the initiation fee and monthly dues. If you have further questions about such membership or would like to visit the club for a tour and perhaps some shooting, click on the link at the upper right-hand corner of this page or contact us at sales@dallasgunclub.com. We will be happy to arrange a personal tour.

Corporate Memberships

Many of our members are corporate executives, attorneys, or physicians. A substantial number have chosen to take advantage of our Corporate Membership program so that they can share the privilege of membership with key employees or partners.

For a single initiation fee, a corporate membership provides a business entity with full club privileges for two designees. The cost is lower than the equivalent number of resident memberships. Additional designees may be added to the corporate membership and new designees may be substituted at any time, both for a prescribed fee established by the Board.

Such membership provides multiple benefits. It enables a company to provide its highest-performing personnel with a significant prerequisite for a job well done. This can play a material role in employee retention. Corporate membership is also a wonderful client development tool and provides an effective opportunity for key employees or partners to network among their peers.

Resident or non-resident dues, as may be appropriate, are paid for each designee. A Corporate Membership is transferable and each owner of a corporate membership has a single vote that may be cast on all issues granted to members under our Bylaws.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a business organization to secure membership in our club and provide multiple employees or partners with full access to all of the shooting venues and amenities at one of the country’s most exclusive private gun clubs.

Click on the Corporate Membership application button for details on the initiation fee and monthly dues. Global

Memberships

Our final membership option is a Global Membership. Occasionally, one of our members will have a job opportunity (or obligation) that takes him/her abroad for an extended period of time. When this occurs, he/she has the opportunity to utilize this membership option. The member continues to have full use of the club whenever he/she returns to Dallas. During his/her absence from the Metroplex, however, dues are reduced to half of an Individual Membership. Voting rights are suspended during one’s absence but individuals retain the ability to sell or transfer their membership at any time. To transfer to Global Membership status it is only necessary to contact the club.
